About Josh
Joshua "Josh" or "JD" DeLung is a people leader who uses data and insights to drive vision, strategy, execution, and operational excellence for technology-forward health organizations.
His background spans business leadership, digital innovation, and strategic communication across public, private, and nonprofit health sectors — helping him grow teams and achieve goals for Cabinet-level government agencies and Fortune 50 clients alike, as well as small teams at boutique consultancies.
A graduate of Virginia Tech (M.A.) and Marshall University (B.A.), Josh is also a former journalist, military veteran (Army), and Certified AI Transformation Leader. He resides in northern Virginia with his two daughters and enjoys hiking, camping, paddling, biking, weightlifting, painting, and taking in culture through entertainment and books.

Experience
Josh started working as a journalist with his first published work in 2002. More than 20 years later, he has worked across publications, served in the military, worked with public relations firms, and supported an array of government contracting and commercial consulting firms.
He has specialized in strategic communication and digital services, operational efficiency, business development, and team building through effective, empathetic people management and resourcing approaches.
He is currently serving on the executive leadership team of a national health nonprofit with clients in federal, state, and local government, as well as philanthropic funders — leading multiple divisions and corporate departments, and serving on the board of a for-profit subsidiary.
